Registration for each term occurs on the dates indicated in Academic Calendar. Please use our helpful "How to register step-by-step" or "Video" Manual. You should meet with your academic adviser prior to the registration period to discuss courses to be taken (SST and SHSS students only). Some programs may not require having an advisor for student. In this case, please ignore online advising part of the course registration. You may also find registration and priority requirements of the courses by following this link.
Holds
A HOLD is placed automatically when you click on "Send to adviser" button. You will not be permitted to register if a hold has been placed on your student account. To find out if you have a registration hold, check your registration status in Course Registration module on MyRegistrar. If you have a hold, please contact your advisor first to see if he/she has placed the hold. If needed, you can ask for removing the hold so you could make adjustments in the personal schedule.
Registration approval
Your registration is not complete until it was approved by your adviser. When your schedule is finished and you have registered for all desired courses, don't forget to submit approval request. At the moment when adviser either approves or denies your schedule, a notification will be sent to your email address.
Schedule changes
To change the schedule after approval, the student should contact his/her adviser to remove the registration hold. If any change was done with the schedule, it should be resent to adviser for approval again.
